IOWA CITY — With all 257 picks of the 2025 NFL draft complete, this year’s batch of undrafted free agents include some Iowa and Iowa State players with impressive resumes.
Iowa linebacker Jay Higgins, for example, was a unanimous All-American in 2024. His teammate Luke Elkin was a first-team All-American at long snapper.
As Higgins, Elkin and others find their NFL homes, here is a running list of the undrafted free agents from Iowa and Iowa State:
Iowa undrafted free agents
- Iowa linebacker Jay Higgins has agreed to a contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
- Iowa defensive back Sebastian Castro has agreed to a contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- Iowa long snapper Luke Elkin has agreed to a contract with the Chicago Bears.
- Iowa defensive back Jermari Harris has signed with the Tennessee Titans.
- Iowa linebacker Nick Jackson has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- Iowa offensive lineman Tyler Elsbury has been invited to the Seattle Seahawks’ mini-camp.
