Times, TV set for some Iowa and Iowa State football games in 2024
Black Friday game against Nebraska is a night game in 2024
IOWA CITY — Several 2024 Iowa and Iowa State football games now have kickoff times and TV assignments set.
The Sept. 7 renewal of the Cy-Hawk rivalry will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and be televised by CBS.
Iowa’s Aug. 31 season opener against Illinois State will start at 11 a.m., with Big Ten Network broadcasting the game.
Iowa’s nonconference finale against Troy on Sept. 14 will have a 3 p.m. kickoff and has been assigned to FS1.
Iowa’s Oct. 26 homecoming game against Northwestern will kick off at 2:30 p.m., with the broadcast assignment still to be announced.
Iowa’s Nov. 29 Black Friday game against Nebraska will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and air on NBC.
The Big Ten already announced an 8 p.m. Central Time start on a Friday night for Iowa’s game against UCLA at the Rose Bowl on Nov. 8. Other start times and TV assignments will be announced as the 2024 season progresses.
Iowa State will kick off its season at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 against North Dakota, a game that will be shown on FS1. The Cyclones’ Sept. 21 home game against Arkansas State will start at 1 p.m. with ESPN+ streaming.
