Iowa women’s wrestling releases full 2025-26 schedule
The Hawkeyes host three dual meets and For Her Dual during the regular season before hosting the NCAA championships in Coralville.

IOWA CITY — Iowa women’s wrestling head coach Clarissa Chun and the Hawkeyes have a first row seat to history this season, starting in less than a month.
Iowa women’s wrestling announced its complete schedule for the 2025-26 season, with a total 18 matches before the NCAA regional and national championships in the spring. The Hawkeyes host three duals at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and the For Her Dual meet at Xtream Arena to end the regular season.
Iowa also will host the first NCAA women’s wrestling national championship at Xtream Arena, March 6-7.
Iowa brings back two national champions, Kennedy Blades and Kylie Welker, this season along with 11 All-Americans from the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championship team (NCWW).
The Hawkeyes open their season with at the Luther Hill Open Nov. 1 in Indianola, before hosting their first meet the following week against Central and Cornell in the All-Iowa Dual. Iowa has six freshmen on its team this season, including two-time Iowa state wrestling champion Libby Dix.
Following the All-Iowa event, the team won’t return to Carver-Hawkeye Arena until early December. Then, the Hawkeyes welcome Oklahoma State and Colorado Mesa on Dec. 7.
Iowa travels to the East Coast for two duals in South Carolina, facing Presbyterian College in Charleston on Nov. 15 and attends to Blue Hose Challenge the next day in Clinton, S.C.
Iowa has its chance to defend its back-to-back titles at the National Duals on Jan. 8-9 in Cedar Falls, before its final dual at Carver-Hawkeye Arena is set for Jan. 18, with Lehigh and Otterbein University.
The NCAA Regionals are set for Feb. 21 in Indianola, just a week before the Hawkeyes host the national championships.
