Iowa football to host Big Noon Kickoff for matchup against No. 6 Oregon
The Hawkeyes will kick off against the Ducks in their final home game of a three-game stretch.

IOWA CITY — For those heading to Kinnick Stadium on Saturday, there’s a bit extra pomp and circumstance to prepare for.
Iowa football is hosting Big Noon Kickoff on Saturday ahead of its matchup with No. 6 Oregon. The Hawkeyes and Ducks are both returning from a bye week, after each team earning wins in Week 9.
CBS Sports will air Iowa hosting the Ducks at 2:30 p.m. Big Noon Saturday will have No. 2 Indiana vs. Penn State.
Iowa has won its last three games, including a 41-3 victory over Minnesota before the bye week. Oregon most recently hosted Wisconsin in a 21-7 win. The two teams will face each other as Big Ten foes for the first time on Nov. 8.
The Hawkeyes and Ducks have four common opponents on their respective schedules, including Rutgers, Wisconsin, Penn State and Indiana. Both teams went 3-1 against those four, with the only loss on both teams against the Hoosiers.
This is the second time Iowa’s been a part of a Big Noon Kickoff game this season, after the pregame show traveled to Ames for the Cy-Hawk matchup in Week 2.
