IOWA CITY — Iowa football has sold out another season.
The Nov. 18 Iowa-Illinois game — the last game with tickets remaining — reached sellout status Thursday morning, the athletic department said Thursday morning.
The other six home games had been sold out since Aug. 11. It is not unusual for the home games later in the season to take longer to sell.
“September and October typically are games that sell better early because of weather,” Iowa deputy athletics director Matt Henderson previously told The Gazette.
It marks the second consecutive season in which the Hawkeyes have sold out all seven home football games. Iowa decreased ticket prices after last season.
