IOWA CITY — Iowa football has sold out all seven home games ahead of the 2024 season, the athletic department said Monday in a news release.
Iowa’s Oct. 12 game against Washington — the last game with single-game tickets available — officially became a sellout on Monday.
The Iowa State game was sold out last Wednesday, and the other five — Illinois State, Troy, Northwestern, Wisconsin and Nebraska — were sold out last Thursday.
The news of the seventh sellout comes four days after single-game tickets went on sale to the general public. Single-game tickets were available earlier last week to I-Club members and season-ticket holders.
The high level of fan interest coincides with another season with high outside expectations. Media picked the Hawkeyes to finish in the top third of the Big Ten — fifth out of 18 teams, to be exact — in the annual preseason media poll conducted by Cleveland.com.
