IOWA CITY — Iowa football has sold out its Sept. 7 home game against Iowa State, the athletic department announced Wednesday via social media. It is the Hawkeyes’ first sellout of the 2024 season.
The news comes a day before single-game tickets would have gone on sale to the general public. Single-game tickets have already been on sale for I-Club members and current season-ticket holders.
Limited tickets remain available for Iowa’s six other home games — Illinois State, Troy, Washington, Northwestern, Wisconsin and Nebraska. Those tickets will be on sale to the general public starting Thursday at 9 a.m.
Iowa’s Sept. 14 game against Troy has fewer than 500 tickets available, according to Iowa sports information. The games against Illinois State, Northwestern, Wisconsin and Nebraska each have fewer than 1,600 remaining tickets. About 2,100 tickets are available for Iowa’s Oct. 12 home game against Washington.
