Iowa football announces future nonconference games against North Dakota, UNI
The Hawkeyes host Northern Illinois and UNI twice over the span of the four years.

IOWA CITY — Iowa football announced two schedule updates for upcoming nonconference schedules Thursday morning, including a second home matchup against UNI in three seasons.
Iowa will host FCS program North Dakota as the nonconference finale on Sept. 18, 2027. That same season, the Hawkeyes also are set to play Ball State and Iowa State.
The Hawkeyes hold an all-time 17-1 record against UNI, with the only loss in 1898 in the very first matchup. That game is scheduled for the 2029 season opener, on Sept. 1.
