IOWA CITY — There is little doubt about how Kirk Ferentz would prefer to build a college football roster.
“We’re not trying to build through the portal,” the 26th-year Iowa head coach said in December. “If we can supplement our team, we’ll do that.”
But as the Hawkeyes “supplement” their roster — and as some players decide to take their talents elsewhere — here is a running list of their portal departures, commitments and notable targets:
