IOWA CITY — Iowa defensive lineman Caden Crawford has entered the transfer portal, he announced Monday morning on social media.
Crawford appeared sparingly in three games this season and made his Iowa debut in last year’s win over Western Michigan. He took 30 total defensive snaps in his three years as a Hawkeye, according to Pro Football Focus. He had his first career fumble recovery in the Hawkeyes’ 40-0 win over Illinois State this year.
The 6-foot-4, 261-pound player from Lansing, Kan., was behind several others at defensive end, including Deontae Craig, Ethan Hurkett, Max Llewellyn and Brian Allen.
Crawford will have two years of eligibility remaining.
