IOWA CITY — Iowa football has landed a commitment from former Iowa State walk-on George Nahas, the offensive lineman announced Thursday afternoon on social media.
Nahas reported scholarship offers from Northern Arizona, South Dakota, Southern Illinois, South Dakota State and UMass since entering the transfer portal on April 22.
The former Dowling Catholic standout did not see any game action in his two seasons in Ames. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
