Fun Facts about Saturday’s Iowa football game against Purdue.
1. This is Iowa’s 1,300th football game.
2. The underdog has won the last three games in this series.
3. Iowa is 7-11-1 when it hosted Purdue for a homecoming game.
4. Purdue is 2-3 in its last five bowls, but was outscored by an average of 28.6 points per game (264-121).
5. With his 53-yarder last week, Iowa kicker Drew Stevens improved to 3-of-3 for his career in field goal tries of 50-plus yards.
