IOWA CITY — More than a month before the start of the season, the window to buy Iowa football tickets already appears to be closing.
Iowa Athletics has announced three sellouts in a 25-hour period this week — Sept. 10 against Iowa State, Oct. 1 against Michigan and Nov. 12 against Wisconsin.
The sellouts do not count a “limited number of hospitality ticket packages,” according to the news release.
There are fewer than 3,000 tickets remaining for each of the four remaining home games.
The Sept. 17 Nevada game and Oct. 29 Northwestern game both have fewer than 1,000 available tickets. The season finale on Nov. 25 against Nebraska has fewer than 2,000 tickets for sale.
