IOWA CITY — Caitlin Clark has departed, but fan interest in the University of Iowa women’s basketball program remains sky-high.
General public seating for the 2024-25 season is sold out at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the university announced Wednesday.
Such was the case last year as well, when the Hawkeyes (34-5) made their second consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament final.
UI student tickets will go on sale Tuesday.
Iowa returns starters Hannah Stuelke and Sydney Affolter from last year’s team, added Lucy Olsen in the transfer portal and welcomes a top-10 freshman class led by post Ave Heiden.
Longtime assistant Jan Jensen is in her first year as head coach, succeeding Lisa Bluder.
Iowa ranked second nationally last year in total home attendance (238.620).
