What to know: Iowa has won five of its last six games against the Spartans and the last three in Iowa City.
Michigan State has won its last five games, the most-recent one a 71-62 home victory over then-No. 11 Wisconsin. Coupled with Michigan’s home loss to Illinois the same day, that gave MSU a one-game lead in the Big Ten with two to play.
The Hawkeyes need at least one win in their final two games to finish in the top 15 of the Big Ten regular-season standings and advance to the league tournament next week in Indianapolis.
