What to know: The Hawkeyes play their first game at USC since Dec. 30, 1993 (a 50-49 Iowa victory).
Iowa leads the series 5-1, including a massive upset win last year in Iowa City, 76-69.
Addie Deal will make her debut in the Iowa starting lineup Thursday, due to the season-ending knee injury to senior Taylor McCabe. Deal has averaged 12.0 points per game in the last four games, including a 20-point output in Sunday’s 91-70 win over Ohio State.
Deal shared Big Ten freshman-of-the-week honors this week; Iowa’s Ava Heiden is the Big Ten player of the week.
Iowa’s Hannah Stuelke has moved into the Big Ten lead in rebounds, at 8.9 per game.
The Hawkeyes are 9-0 in the Big Ten for the first time since the 1995-96 season, and have won eight consecutive games. They are tied for first place with UCLA, and the Hawkeyes face the Bruins on Sunday in L.A.
USC is without All-American JuJu Watkins for the entirety of the season; she suffered a torn ACL during the 2025 NCAA tournament.
The Trojans started 10-3, but have lost six of their last seven games to drop into a 12-place tie in the Big Ten standings.
Jazzy Davidson leads USC at 16.0 points per game.
