1. Iowa is coming off a 76-65 win at Rutgers Sunday. The Hawkeyes became the first team to win and never trail at Rutgers over the last five seasons.
2. This game features two of the Big Ten’s top three scorers. Iowa’s Kris Murray averages 20.9 points. Michigan 7-foot-1 junior Hunter Dickinson, who averages 18.7. He has averaged 16.3 points and 9.3 rebounds in three games against Iowa.
3. After going scoreless at Nebraska and Penn State, Iowa’s Payton Sandfort has averaged 16.5 points over his last two games.
4. Michigan is second in the nation in fewest turnovers per game with 9.2.
5. Wolverines freshman guard Jett Howard, the son of Michigan coach Juwan Howard, is second among Big Ten freshmen in scoring with 14.3 points per game. Iowa and Michigan are the only two Division I programs with two sons of the head coach on their rosters.
