Josh Dix is transferring from Iowa to Creighton.
The 6-foot-5 guard from Council Bluffs has one season of eligibility remaining, and he’ll spend it across the river from his hometown in Omaha. He’ll join former Iowa center Owen Freeman, who transferred to Greg McDermott’s Bluejays in March.
Dix played in 97 games over three seasons for Iowa, and started 32 games in 2024-25. He averaged 14.5 points this season, with 50.7 percent shooting and 42.2 percent from 3-point distance.
Dix suffered a broken tibia and fibula in his Lincoln High’s game on Jan. 21, 2022, but resumed his basketball career with the Hawkeyes that fall.
