What: No. 11-seed Iowa (20-9) vs. No. 14 Wisconsin (13-16) in the opening round of the Big Ten women’s basketball tournament

What to know: Three days after Iowa beat Wisconsin 81-66 in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the two teams meet again.
The winner will meet No. 6-seed Michigan State Thursday at approximately 8 p.m. (Iowa time).
This is Iowa’s 64th game in the current incarnation of the Big Ten tourney, which dates to 1995, but it’s the first time the Hawkeyes have been matched up with Wisconsin.
Iowa has won its last 30 games against the Badgers, the last seven by 14 or more points.
Hawkeye junior forward Hannah Stuelke is coming off a 21-point, 15-rebound performance against the Badgers. Teammate Lucy Olsen scored 22 points, and is averaging 24.2 over her last six games.
No. 11-seeds are 7-2 against No. 14-seeds in this tournament. but 13-30 overall. The Hawkeyes have a 38-25 all-time record in the tourney. Wisconsin is 15-30.
Badger junior forward Serah Williams is third in the Big Ten in scoring (19.1 points per game) and second in rebounding (10.0 per game) and blocked shots (2.2). She had 18 points and 10 rebounds at Iowa Sunday.
