The Jan Jensen era officially tipped off Wednesday, with Iowa handling Northern Illinois, 91-73. All five starters scored in double figures, led by Lucy Olsen’s 19 points (and seven assists).
Kylie Feuerbach added 14 points, and freshman Teagan Mallegni also tallied 14 off the bench.
Iowa led just 15-14 after a quarter, then exploded for 30 points in the second period.
