MINNEAPOLIS — Over in a flash.

On a day in which the top half of the bracket was upset-littered, Iowa brought back a measure of order.

The third-ranked Hawkeyes scored the first 10 points, led by 18 at the end of the first quarter and coasted past Penn State, 95-62, in a Big Ten tournament quarterfinal Friday evening at Target Center.

That’s pretty much the way this series has been lately. Iowa (27-4) beat Penn State for the 10th straight time, and the Hawkeyes have averaged 101.7 points in the last seven conquests.

Iowa (27-4) will face No. 12 Indiana or Michigan in a semifinal at 3:30 Saturday afternoon (BTN).
