What to know: Iowa is coming off a 23-11 season in Jan Jensen’s debut campaign as head coach.
The Hawkeyes return 47.4 percent of their scoring for 2025-26, led by senior Hannah Stuelke (12.7 points, 7.7 rebounds per game). Stuelke is a preseason all-Big Ten selection.
Taylor McCabe and Kylie Feuerbach both averaged 6.7 points per game. Both are seniors, as is Stuelke.
Ashland (Ohio) is an NCAA Division-II power, posting a 205-21 record in Kari Pickens’ seven seasons, including 37-0 in 2022-23 and 31-0 in 2019-20. The Eagles were 32-4 last season.
