Iowa, UNI men’s basketball to play two games apiece in November California event
Opponents to be determined. Hawkeyes are one of three Big Ten teams headed to Palm Desert on Thanksgiving week.

The men’s basketball teams of Iowa and Northern Iowa will participate in a tournament in Palm Desert, Calif., in the last week of November.
Iowa announced Monday it will be part of the 2025 Acrisure Series on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26. The event will be played at 11,000-seat Acrisure Arena.
The Hawkeyes’ two opponents will be named later. Other confirmed teams for the event include Minnesota and Washington of the Big Ten, as well as Colorado and Utah of the Big 12, Stanford, Mississippi, Nevada, San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Jose State, California Baptist, San Diego, Grand Canyon, Loyola Chicago and Tulsa.
All games will be televised on TNT Sports, truTV or MAX.
The Hawkeyes’ other scheduled games are Robert Morris and Xavier at home on Nov. 7 and Nov. 14, respectively, and a December game at Iowa State.
