1. Minnesota is back in action after having its Tuesday game at Illinois postponed because of COVID-19 issues within its program. The Gophers’ last game was an 81-46 home loss to Maryland Feb. 4.

3. Former Hawkeye wing Joe Wieskamp has signed a multi-year contract with the NBA’s Toronto Raptors, it was announced Saturday. Terms were undisclosed. It’s expected to be the minimum, with no guarantees after the rest of this season.
The second-year pro had averaged 16.1 points with the G League’s Wisconsin Herd. He was a second-round draft pick of the San Antonio Spurs in 2021 and spent last season with the Spurs.
4. Iowa has made 79 of its 93 free throw tries (84.9 percent) over its last four games.
5. The Gophers have drawn less than 10,000 fans for each of their last four home games, and have a season-average of 9,001. Last year they averaged 10,267.
6. Minnesota is second of the state’s two Division I teams in the NET rankings. St. Thomas is 185th, 54 spots ahead of the Gophers.
