What to know: Iowa has won eight of the last nine in the series, but fell 90-86 in its last trip to Champaign on Jan. 1, 2023.
The Hawkeyes are averaging 14.8 turnovers in their 12 wins, and are coughing up 24.7 turnovers in their three losses.
Iowa’s Addison O’Grady continues to lead the Big Ten in field goal percentage at 68.2 percent.
Illinois’ Kendall Bostic is second in the league in rebounding, at 11.1 boards per game.
Bostic is one of four 1,000-career point scorers (Genesis Bryant, Makira Cook and Adalia McKenzie are the others) in the Illinois program.
Bryant has recorded three consecutive games of 20-plus points. A first-team all-Big Ten guard in 2023, Cook has not seen any game action since Dec. 8.
