Former Iowa men’s basketball player B.J. Armstrong is taking a job as the assistant general manager of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings.
Armstrong, 57, played 11 seasons in the NBA and was on three league-championship teams with the Chicago Bulls. After his retirement as a player in 2000, he was in the front office of the Bulls and then became a player agent.
Armstrong played at Iowa from 1985-89. He averaged 18.6 points as a senior. His No. 10 jersey number was retired.
