Big Ten women’s basketball tournament back to Indianapolis in 2025, 2026
Then it’s off to Las Vegas in 2027 and Detroit in 2028

Iowa women’s basketball fans’ self-proclamation of Minneapolis’ Target Center as “Carver North” will be on pause, at least for the foreseeable future.
The Big Ten announced Wednesday that the conference tournament will move out of Minneapolis, back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, for 2025 and 2026.
The 2025 tournament is scheduled for March 5-9.
In 2027, the tournament moves to the T-Mobile Center in Las Vegas. Then it’s Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena in 2028.
The Big Ten expands to 18 teams next season. Fifteen will qualify for the conference tournament.
Iowa is the three-time defending Big Ten tournament champion. The Hawkeyes reigned in Indy in 2022, in Minneapolis in 2023 and 2024.
