IOWA CITY — It’s simple and sensible.
The Big Ten released home-and-away assignments Wednesday for the 2025-26 women’s basketball season, and Iowa’s schedule is flipped completely from last season.
It’s an 18-game league schedule, and the Hawkeyes’ lone “double-play” remains Nebraska.
The Hawkeyes will play everybody else once. The teams they hosted last year, they will face on the road next season. And vice versa.
Dates, times and television information will be announced in early fall.
Iowa is coming off a 23-11 season, in which it tied for eighth in the Big Ten at 10-8. The Hawkeyes reached the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
The assignments:
Home and away: Nebraska
Home only: Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State, Washington, Oregon
Away only: Indiana, Maryland, Northwestern, Purdue, Rutgers, Wisconsin, UCLA, USC
