A year ago you left me, my heart split in two.
The one side filled with memories,
the other died with you.
Often during the day and night alike, when the
world is fast going by, I take a walk down
memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks.
Remembering you is easy, I do it every day.
Missing you is a heartache
that never goes away.
I hold you tightly within my heart,
and there you always remain.
Life goes on without you,
but life will never be the same.
We will love you and miss you
forever and always.
