The family of Jackie Strother extends a big thank you to everyone who has supported us with thoughts, prayers, cards, flowers, plants, donations, acts of kindness or

visited us at the farm. A special "thank you" to Dr. Suraj Bopanna, Mercy Hospital & Staff, Hospice of Mercy, and the family and friends who were at our side

throughout Jackie's journey home. Thank you for the extension of helping hands to the family throughout and after our loss. Your kindness has provided a source of comfort and has helped soften the pain.

A celebration of life is scheduled for

Saturday, April 18, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Longbranch Hotel & Convention Center,

90 Twixt Town Road in Cedar Rapids

Come prepared to share your favorite

Jackie stories. There will be food, drink, laughter and maybe just a few tears.
