Marla Baird Hite
Marla Joanne Baird Hite
May 13, 1952 – June 10, 2017
Loved Forever
Wife, mother, grand-mother, sister, best friend, friend – Marla was all of
those and so much more. Marla lived every day of her life for others. Marla was the definition of unconditional love, never judging and always forgiving. Marla's strength of conviction and belief in her family made her a fiercely loyal matriarch. Marla was the most giving, loving person I ever met.
Joshua, Zachary, Blake, Katelyn, Bentley, Dillon and Hayden – Marla loved you all so much that you were her life. Not a single day went by that Marla didn't worry, wonder and think about each of you. Marla helped to shape and strengthen her family with fairness and compassion; she made us all better human beings. Marla saved Joshua, Zachary and me from making so many wrong choices. Marla was our beacon of light, trying to steer us all in the right direction.
The Hite family would like to give a special thanks to the following people: Joye and Gary Baird, Debbie Osborn, Marsha and Mike Vogel, Diana and Darran Bunch, Kaye Hite, Carrie Marsh and Mike Canzian. All of you meant so much to Marla and you were there for her in the end. Thank you all so much!
Marla loved her grandkids, her sons, her brother and sisters, her friends and me with all her heart. What more could you ask of a person than that?
Marla, I will carry you with me for the rest of my life. I miss you every day and thank God for every second I spent with you. Goodbye, Baby, I will love you forever!
Please don't mourn Marla. Celebrate her life, spend some time listening to a friend or stranger. Show someone a random act of kindness or just drop a dime to your favorite charity.
