Dear Heart,
We were blessed by God with very nearly 48 wonderful years together. I thank God for those years
and I thank you for making me
feel so cherished and loved through all of those years. I'd like to ask God for one more blessing, and that is:
"I want to stroll
over Heaven with you some glad day
When all our troubles
and heartaches are vanished away,
then we'll enjoy the beauty
where all things are new,
I want to stroll over Heaven with you."
I know we'll stroll over Heaven together someday, but until then ...
"I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places
that this heart of mine embraces all day through.
I'll be seeing you in the morning sun and when the night is new, I'll be lookin' at the moon, but I'll be seein' you."
