Iowans need to eat more veggies

The CDC released a study this week that showed most of us could do better eating our fruits and vegetables. Iowa ranked 12
th
lowest, in a tie with Delaware, in the percentage of adults meeting both fruit and vegetable goals. Only about 12 percent of adults here meet the goals of two or more servings of fruit and three or more servings of vegetables per day.
Here are the rankings from the study, based on 2007 surveys:
