If you're a composting expert and looking for a little cash, here's an offer for you:
Stacie Johnson, education coordinator for the Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency, is looking for a temporary education person to teach sixth-graders about composting.
Sixth grade field trips will be at the Solid Waste Agency in Marion on May 3, 4, 11, 12, 17 and 18. The job would entail being at the landfill on County Home Road from 9 a.m. to noon on those days and showing 6th graders how composting works. Pay is $10 an hour and the educator would work through Cambridge.
