Flood victims were allowed to claim their losses on
their federal and state income tax returns.
As the Cedar River rose, so did the boathouses at Ellis Boat Harbor on April 4, 1993. The access road to the east of the boathouses is under water, as is much of Ellis Boulevard NW in Cedar Rapids.
