Hoover Site Representatives
Herbert Clark Hoover, the 31st President of the United States, was born in West Branch, Iowa on August 10, 1874 and died in New York City on October 20, 1964. He was laid to rest at West Branch on October 25, 1964.
The Hoover Presidential Library was dedicated in 1962. An addition was constructed in 1964. The facility was further constructed and renovated in the early 1990s and rededicated in August, 1992.
