From Big Screen to Big Volume
On December 16, 1991, Pat McGrath Chevyland opened at 1600 51st Street NE (bottom panel), on land formerly occupied by the drive-in. When it opened, the vehicle dealership was believed to be the largest Chevrolet facility in Iowa. The photo looks east from the former Econofoods East parking lot.
