News this week that Americans now have a fourth COVID-19 vaccine option – one closer to more traditional vaccines used to combat flu, for example – came about thanks, in part, to University of Iowa researchers and Iowans willing to take the experimental shot.
A year after University of Iowa Athletics reported a $42.9 million deficit and Iowa State University Athletics reported spending $17 million more than it made — due to COVID-related losses — both the Hawkeyes and Cyclones are predicting the 2023 budget year will be their most lucrative to date.
