Open house set at new UI Heart and Vascular Center

IOWA CITY - University of Iowa Health Care hosts an open house for its new UI Heart and Vascular Center clinic from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the John Pappajohn Pavilion at UI Hospitals and Clinics, 200 Hawkins Dr., Iowa City.
The event is free to the public. During the event, free parking is available at Hospital Parking Ramp 4, located off South Hospital Drive.
The open house will include tours of the new clinic; free blood pressure and heart rate tests; demonstrations on performing CPR and using an automated external defibrillator; and information about MyChart, a web-based service that gives patients online access to their medical information.
Light refreshments will be served.
The new, 30,000-square-foot center opens to the public on Sept. 18.
