Nathan Beitz, a senior at Maquoketa Valley, beat Don Bosco’s Kyler Sallis by major decision in Friday’s Class 1A 215-pound state wrestling semifinals to advance to Saturday night’s championship round at Wells Fargo Arena.

He’s joined in the finals with Iowa City West duo Alexander Pierce and Justin Avila.
