Andrew Rottinghaus pitched six innings and earned a victory in the nightcap, helping Independence salvage a split with Class 3A No. 3 Marion. The Wolves won the opener, 6-3, and the Mustangs won the nightcap, which was also 6-3.
Justin Basch, of the award-winning Baschamania Wrestling Podcast, reported that Gabe Arnold said that he has been dismissed from the University of Iowa men’s wrestling team Monday. Iowa Sports Information Department confirmed Arnold is no longer on the roster.
