Public hearings on medical marijuana set

The Iowa Board of Pharmacy has set the dates for a series of public hearings to receive evidence and testimony regarding the pros and cons of medical marijuana from a scientific, medical, and legal perspective. The Board is interested in hearing from medical professionals, as well as the general public. Public hearings will be held at the following dates and locations:
Wednesday, August 19, 2009 – 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Iowa State Historical Building (Auditorium)

Wednesday, September 2, 2009 – 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
