Mercy offers: Living well with Type 2 diabetes

If you or a family member has recently been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of information needed to manage the disease. Bring your questions and get information at a special event at Mercy's Joslin Diabetes Center on Tues., Nov. 13 at 6pm. Endocrinologist Dr. Arun Movva and nurse practitioner Wendy Sanders will guide the discussion, and answer questions. Plus, Mercy Chef Andy Deutmeyer will lead a cooking demonstration aimed at eating healthy for those with Type 2 diabetes. This special event takes place at the Joslin Diabetes Center at the Mercy Health Plaza. Registration is required. Visit
