Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) occurs when plaque builds up in the arteries that carry blood to an individual's head, organs and limbs. Blocked blood flow to the legs can cause numbness, or pain when walking, and can increase an individual's risk of heart attack and stroke. Join Dr. Richard Kettelkamp of Cardiologists, L.C. to learn about signs and symptoms, and what can be done to lower the risk of developing PAD.
