Dr. Sandra Fischer of Horizons receives St. Luke’s Professional Excellence Award

It's with great pride that Horizons, A Family Service Alliance announces Mental Health Counseling staff, Sandra Fischer, Psy.D as the 2012 recipient of St. Luke's Child Protection Center's Kathleen Opdebeeck Award for Professional Excellence. This award is given to professionals who have demonstrated exemplary service in providing specialized assistance to Iowa's children.

“The staff of Horizons Mental Health Counseling, and the entire agency, are thrilled for Dr. Fischer. Sandra's positive impact touches countless lives, and we're incredibly honored to work with her,” states Christine Rogers Cork, Horizons Clinical Director. “She truly deserves this recognition.”

Dr. Fischer is part of the Mental Health Counseling Department at Horizons. Sixteen full time therapists are available to serve children and adolescents as well as adults.
