Dee Eadie joins Mercy as executive director of Hall-Perrine Cancer Center

Mercy Medical Center is pleased to announce that Dee Eadie has joined its leadership team as Executive Director of the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center.
"It is my pleasure to welcome Dee Eadie to Mercy," said Tim Charles, president and CEO of Mercy Medical Center. "Following an extensive national search, Dee was selected for this position because of her proven leadership and thorough understanding of the oncology environment. She is a person of extraordinary talent, dedication, passion and care. I am confident that her experience and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of cancer care at the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center."
Since 2007, Eadie served as the Cancer Center Administrator of the University of Virginia (UVA) Health System and as a Clinical Instructor in the UVA School of Nursing. Previously, Eadie served as Cancer Center Director at Wake Forest University Baptist Health and also has experience as a director of Hospice. She earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama and a Masters Degree in Nursing from Duke University.
Eadie has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the South-Atlantic Division of the American Cancer Society, on the National Grants Committee of the Oncology Nursing Society, on the Advisory Board of the Virginia Cancer Plan Action Coalition, a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Association of Cancer Center Executives and is active in the Social Work Oncology Association.
