Iowa men’s wrestling announces dates for 2024-25 Big Ten Conference schedule
Iowa will start conference duals on Jan. 12 at Wisconsin; Hawkeyes first home Big Ten dual will be Jan. 17 against Illinois

IOWA CITY — The University of Iowa men’s wrestling team has announced dates for Big Ten Conference duals for the 2024-25 season.
The home and road duals were released previously, but now we have dates for each of the Big Ten foes Iowa will wrestle this season.
The Hawkeyes will open the conference slate on the road at Wisconsin on Jan. 12. The first Big Ten dual at Carver-Hawkeye Arena will be Jan. 17 against Illinois.
The rest of Iowa’s conference home duals are Ohio State on Jan. 25, Nebraska on Feb. 7 and Northwestern on Feb. 16.
The Hawkeyes also will travel to defending Big Ten and NCAA champion Penn State on Jan. 31, Maryland on Feb. 2 and Minnesota on Feb. 14.
Iowa will compete in the Big Ten Championships on March 8-9 in Evanston, Ill. The NCAA Championships will be March 20-22 in Philadelphia.
The Hawkeyes posted a 12-2 overall dual record, going 6-2 in the Big Ten last year. They placed fourth at the conference tournament and fifth at the national meet.
Iowa’s full schedule will be released at a later date. According to other programs’ schedules, the Hawkeyes will open the dual season Nov. 2 at Oregon State.
The annual Cy-Hawk Series dual will be held in Iowa City on Nov. 23, according to Iowa State’s schedule.
Princeton has published its wrestling schedule and Iowa is listed as an opponent on Dec. 6 at Francis Howell High School in St. Louis, Mo. it could be part of a double dual or competition weekend.
Iowa led the nation in attendance for the 17th straight year, selling out its home duals the last two seasons.
