Cy-Hawk Series men’s wrestling dual will be televised on ESPN
No. 6 Iowa State will host No. 3 Iowa on Sunday, Nov. 30; Iowa’s dual at No. 5 Oklahoma State is scheduled for ESPN2 broadcast

University of Iowa men’s wrestling will have multiple dates on ESPN networks this season.
ESPN announced Friday that it will broadcast the Cy-Hawk Series dual Nov. 30 from Hilton Coliseum in Ames, beginning at noon. It will be the third regular-season dual to air live on the main ESPN station, joining last season’s Oklahoma State at Iowa State dual and the Iowa at Iowa State dual in 2023.
Iowa’s dual at No. 5 Oklahoma State on Feb. 22 will be televised on ESPN, according to an Oklahoma State news release Friday. The dual is set for 5 p.m.
The Hawkeyes are ranked third, while Iowa State is sixth in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association dual rankings.
This year’s dual will mark the 89th dual in one of college wrestling’s most iconic rivalries. Iowa has dominated the series, winning the last 20 duals including a 21-15 victory last year at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.
The Hawkeyes own a 70-16-2 all-time lead in the rivalry. Two of the last three meetings, however, have been decided by four points or less.
ISU enters the 2025-26 season with seven past All-Americans on its roster, its most since entering the 1982-83 season.
Iowa (1-0) opened with a 40-0 dual win over Bellarmine on Nov. 6 and is the No. 1 seed at the inaugural National Duals Invitational this weekend at BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla. The bracketed dual event will be livestreamed on Flowrestling with the finals airing on ESPN2 Sunday at 6 p.m.
Iowa State crowned eight champions at its Cyclone Invitational Saturday. The Cyclones begin dual competition at home Friday against NCAA Division II power University of Nebraska-Kearney.
