Big Ten leads all conferences with 87 allocations for the NCAA Wrestling Championships
Big Ten will receive 10 automatic berths at 133, 197 and heavyweight; Big 12 received 61 total allocations

The NCAA announced the pre-allocations for the upcoming national qualifying tournaments Thursday.
The Big Ten leads the way with 87 automatic berths to the NCAA Championships March 20-22 in Philadelphia, Pa. The Big 12 Conference is second with 61 and the Atlantic Coast Conference is third at 38.
Second-ranked Iowa will compete at the Big Ten Championships on March 8-9 at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. The Hawkeyes will be vying for those automatic bids to the national tournament.
Big Ten earned 10 spots at 133, 197 and heavyweight. Nine were awarded at 125 and 165, while the top-eight at 149, 157, 174 and 184 will advance. The conference had seven bids at 141.
Big 12 received seven apiece at 125, 141, 157, 165 and 184. Six allocations were doled out at 133, 149 and 174. Heavyweight and 197 have four apiece.
Iowa State and University of Northern Iowa will wrestle in the Big 12 Championships on March 8-9 at BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.
