Wisconsin lost. Purdue lost. Northwestern won. And with that, the Wildcats clinched the Big Ten West Division title Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.
Northwestern's 14-10 win over No. 21 Iowa was ugly, but memorable for the faithful in purple.
The Hawkeyes (6-4, 3-4) led 3-0 at halftime but dropped their third straight game after rushing for just 64 yards on 22 attempts (2.9 yards per carry).
Meanwhile, freshman Isaiah Bowser carried 31 times for Northwestern (6-4, 6-1), picking up 165 yards and a TD. The Wildcats forced and recovered two fumbles in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Iowa travels to Illinois next week.
